Kharazi donates personal library to INLA
TEHRAN -- Former Iranian foreign minister Kamal Kharazi has donated his personal library to Iran’s National Library and Archives (INLA).
The library contains over 200 books, including plays by Pari Saberi, some books by Ali Shariati, and several works in the fields of sociology and Persian literature.
Melal Cultural Center to hold book competition
TEHRAN -- A book review competition is currently underway at the Melal Cultural Center.
People interested in participating can obtain “Biography of Ali-Akbar Dehkhoda” from the Melal Cultural Center until November 19.
The venue is located in Qeitarieh Park, near Piruz Sq. and the Sadr Highway.
Director of “Mohammad, Messenger of God” to be honored at IQFF
TEHRAN -- Moustapha Akkad, the director of “Mohammad, Messenger of God”, will be honored at the second edition of the International Quranic Film Festival (IQFF), which will be held in Tehran next year.
Akkad (1930–2005) was a Syrian-American film producer and director, best known for producing the series of Halloween films and directing “Mohammad, Messenger of God” and “Lion of the Desert”.
